Yesterday was another ecstatic day with Little Miss Sukuku! Oh yes, I so enjoy getting on her nerves :P

I am still gleeing at the part where I got to surprise her but then, she said something about my physique that makes me obvious.

    Dammit.

We were on the way to have dinner at Sakae Sushi, located at the top of Causeway Point but upon reaching the top, the place which WAS Sakae Sushi was under renovation. Like, what the hell. It was really uncalled for, so I had to think of a Plan B.

So in the end, we went to get those sushi which you can take-out and eat from I-Can't-Remember-What's-The-Name since the two of us were really craving for sushi and I can't wait for the next Sakae outing, because I am so gonna 'chiong' the sushi plates there muahahax!

We went to catch my school, Republic Polytechnic's, first ever dance festival which featured loads of schools like NTU, SAJC... And it was not only all about hip-hop but also dances like ballet, ethnic, interpretative and etc.

The dance which amazes me the most would have to be the dancers from NTU with their mixture of ethnic, ballet, etc dances and it was seriously mesmerizing. I was so captivated by the beauty and elegance of the dance that at times, I was oblivious to my surroundings.

Unfortunately, photography was not allowed in the theater so I could not take any photos. :(

I would really like to thank Little Miss Sukuku for the small gift and the ribbon she tied was so cool, I decided to hang in on my bag. :D

Having fever and sore throat now. Argh! And tomorrow there's a BBQ at ECP. Can't afford to be sick now!

For those of you who are in Republic Polytechnic, have you ever wondered why are there students taking pictures all around the school yesterday with a Canon DSLR? With some who look like professional photographers and some who are total noobs(slang term for a newcomer) when holding a camera?

My module was 'Web Multimedia' yesterday and other classes who were having the same module as me all shared the same requirements to solve the problem. We had to take pictures using that bulky camera which was quite cool at the same time because the pictures taken was extremely sharp.

My photography theme was 'Black and White' and below are my 5 best shots.

Credits to my classmate Hakim for being my model.

-I just can't wait to see you later today, you've always made my day-

"Problem solving forms part of thinking. Considered the most complex of all intellectual functions, problem solving has been defined as higher-order cognitive process that requires the modulation and control of more routine or fundamental skills"
    - as quoted by Wikipedia.

It is without a doubt, problems are a part and parcel of life. We can never run away from it and can never avoid it.

Our only option is to tackle it effectively, recklessly or ruthlessly.

Miko-san, I am really sorry for not turning up today. I hope you understand. :(

    Question!

Are you someone who is confident of saying things or maybe with a little exaggeration and do not have to think before answering?

And eventually, you did not do what you say? Basically N.A.T.O(No Action Talk Only)?

If your answer is yes, congratulations! You are a friend that everybody would like to have! :D

    NOT!

I am sorry, the thing is, I really wish I could be straightforward, but I am not one who breaks friendship easily, it is hard for me, but it does get on my nerves to have someone who would degrade a friend for his/her own gain to make themselves more well-liked.

Ah, what the heck. I am so going to face that person and be straight. Only pussies keep things inside.

Oh, I caught this movie on Friday with the company of Little Miss Sukuku, and yes, it is so worth the good ratings it was given on 'Yahoo!', a romantic comedy flick not to be missed for any couples out there, though it still loses out to Ashton Kutcher's and Cameron Diaz's 'What Happened In Las Vegas'. Now THAT was a real, romantic comedy movie.

Oh wait, maybe 'What Happened In Las Vegas' focuses too much on the comedy aspect.

Alright, I have to get ready to leave for work now. Man, looking at my bed tempts me to just skip off work and have a great day's sleep but that is impossible.

Hello? You gave your roster to work on Sunday, 1 lesson in work life, always mean what you say to your supervisor.

So now, I shall go into summary to what I did during the past 3 days.

    Friday, 23rd May

Went out with Little Miss Sukuku since she didn't had any plans on that day and we went to catch 'Made of Honor'. After that, we chilled at 'The Coffee Connoisseur' which was located near Boat Quay/Raffles Place, and that place is a must go for a group of friends or couples who likes places that has a peaceful atmosphere.

That place was so relaxing that we talked and talked and we were so lazy to get up and move which eventually we realized, it was after midnight and there was no more MRT service. Uh oh. Little Miss Sukuku can't take the cab because of her motion sickness so we ended up sitting beside the Singapore River and chatted the whole night away till the MRT service was available again.

    Another jovial moment. :)

    Saturday, 24th May

I got up late due to my mind being quite weary from yesterday's overnight beside the Singapore River. Ridzwan drove me and Mike out and we planned to head to Sempang Bedok because that place is a must-go for food-lovers but in the end, we got lost and ate at some place which was located at Upper Changi Road.

You have to understand, we are from the west, and obviously, west people are noobs when it comes to finding locations in the east.

So after that, we chilled at Jurong East Entertainment for awhile, where Mike was happily snapping away Ridzwan's face and his as well.

Thanks Wan for the treat :)

    ----------------
Yesterday is marked as one of the jovial days since 2 weeks ago, thanks to the company of Little Miss Sukuku ;P

With only wanting to do things that do not require much strenuous effort, basically, chilling out, we headed to this little chocolate cafe called 'Max Brenner', located at the 1st floor of the Esplanade.

Thanks to Yusrina and Mike, who recommended that place, we indulged ourselves with the chocolate fondue, as well as waffles that is covered in caramel and had slices of banana as well as vanilla ice cream.

It took us awhile to realize there was a difference in the 2 small bowls they provided for the fondue. One had dark chocolate and the other milk chocolate.

    Haha. Kuku-r-us.

My evaluation of 'Max Brenner', it is an ideal place to have long conversations due to the comfortable and soft-lighting ambiance and their delights are great as well, with the waffle is a must-try.

I am so going back there when my chocolate craving goes over the meter once again.

We then walked through Citylink and she showed me the place she worked at before Sentosa, which I honestly feel, has a more "happy feel" then the Merlion Gift Shop.

It seems to me like, you can work while having loads of fun at the same time there.

Suntec was the next stop, with her going goo-goo-ga-ga over the huge soft toys at 'Mini Toons', the one which I caught my eye is the Winnie the Pooh Bear wearing a Tigger costume.

I know it may sound wrong for a guy like me to say this, but it is really adorable.

Hey, everyone has a soft side.

    Bite me, male chauvinists.

I learnt something new during work today.

If you want to further irritate someone, who is being an asshole towards you and do not understand plain and simple English, the following is one of the most effective ways.

    Smile brightly at them.

And I mean, give a real, wide smile.

It is either they will stop pestering you, give you that 'WTF' look for a few seconds and walk off, or, this is my honest favorite, they would smile back and say "It's okay, thank you anyway" and walk away.

I can be a real pain-in-the-ass to some of the guests (tourists) that visit Sentosa but still, them giving genuine smiles would make up for anything that they said or done which drove me up the wall.

And I mean, REALLY up the wall.

I chilled out with Wan and Mike after work at Seah Im, it was a well-deserved rest after forcing myself to give that wide smile to every guest that keep insisting things to go their way but hey, I love what I am doing.

Hearing Wan's and Mike's stories about love, relationships and life made me think deep about my future.

Questions like, 'How is your life going to be 10 years from now?', 'What kind of wife will you be married to?', etc. These kinds can take up loads of your time as well as getting your brain going.

Thinking about it, is it time for me to even think of such things?

I have not even completed National Service for goodness sake.

That previous post was supposed to be sent yesterday night but somehow, I fell asleep halfway and resulted I did not publish that entry.

So today my shift was at 2.30pm, and boy was it hot during the whole journey to the shop. More hotter compared to going in the morning and to 'add fuel to the fire', some of the air-conditioner of some of the zones were out.

    Like, what the hell.

It was really sad to hear that many people backed out at the last min for Adeline's party. Me, Chris and Ser Wee firstly, had half of our minds not to go but so as not to disappoint the birthday girl even further, we decided to go.

Eventually, after entering the queue to Zouk which was incredibly and ridiculously long, Chris got fed-up and plus, both of us are working the next day so we decided to head home.

    Spelt 'B-O-R-I-N-G'!

But thanks anyway Wei Wei for inviting us!

    Happy 19th Birthday Adeline!

May all your dreams and wishes come true!

Till next friday then! Double O baby!

    *Fingers crossed*

As what I mentioned in the previous post, these are the pictures taken at this pub called 'Ice Cold Beer' which is located at Peranakan Place.

Just so in case there is anyone of you who is curious to know where the place is, it is located beside Orchard Emerald to the left, and behind it. Where the famous 'Rush' is located.

Some of the pictures are either too dark or a little blurry but still, it says a thousand words. Credits should go to Raudah because most of the pictures were taken by her and it is pretty awesome.

Excuses for not making an entry yesterday.

Well, not like this is going to be the first and last time I will ever omit entries of each day.

Anyway, I was at Bugis Street with Ridzwan, shopping for new formal clothes because of 2 upcoming events. One is Adeline's birthday party @ Zouk this coming Saturday, and Kai Ming's proposed idea to Double O next Friday. I seriously lack in these kind of clothes. Even the ones I have, okay, well, no comments about that.

Simply put, you would not ever see me outside with them.

And it seems that if I am to attend both events, I have to be really financially smart and strict.

I have to set aside enough for lunch money at school as well as during work. Not having anything to eat = literally brain dead. I can set aside a day or two not eating and waiting till I reach home, but this idea is so not reccommended because usually, I would clean out the rice cooker.

Bad idea for someone who is watching his weight and physique.

I will be heading out to Peranakan Place with Syahril later. Maybe it is time for me to fill this blog with pictures. All the way black & blue seems a little depressing.

The 'Black & Blue' album by Backstreet Boys.

If you are able to visit this blog, you should consider yourself pretty lucky.

    NOT!

After reading my fellow friends' blogs, livejournals and etc, I suddenly got that craving to blog again. And yes, here I am, typing down once again, in this same text box and thinking of what my next words should be.

So in this new semester of mine, I am having Wednesdays off due to not being able to get any electives, which I so seriously wanna do but somehow, my application got rejected.

Balls to whoever determines whether or not you get electives.

I am somehow proud of that picture above. It is a combination of 3 different pictures which I painstakingly combined and adjusted the colors via Adobe Photoshop 6 (yes, I am aware the latest version is Photoshop CS but I am more comfortable with 6, thank you)

And it is in blue. Yay! :)

I hung out with Ridzwan earlier, talking about relationships, life, females and all that other jazz. In case you are wondering who is Ridzwan, he is someone who I consider him one of my best dudes and got the chance to meet at Merlion when he first joined last year. As well as my other best dudes like Syahril, Ghaz, Joe, Man, etc.

Normally, I do not believe in BFFL(Best Friends For Life), but I believe and place my trust in this few bunch of people and feel honored to call them my dudes.

    Watch this blog for updates.

    Till then, peace.
